How Return Obligations Work on Sign4Sign

Every verified signup creates exactly one return obligation.

The obligation

When a founder confirms your signup, they must sign up for your active project in return.

The deadline

The default window is 72 hours, shown as a live countdown on the dashboard.

If it is missed

An active flag is issued. Four active flags restrict participation until the outstanding exchanges are resolved or appealed.

Resolving a flag

Complete the outstanding return signup and get it verified. The flag moves to resolved and stops counting against you.
