How to Write Better Signup Instructions for Your Startup

Clear requirements get verified faster and rejected less.

Vague instructions cause rejections, disputes and wasted time for both sides. ## Write a checklist, not a paragraph Three to five short steps, in order. ## Say what "done" looks like "Created a workspace" is verifiable. "Explore the app" is not. ## Tell people what you will check If you verify by account email, say so up front. ## Keep it under five minutes Long requirements reduce the number of founders willing to start an exchange with you.
